Valens Announces Annual & Special Meeting Results
Kelowna, B.C., October 5th, 2018 – Valens GroWorks Corp. (CSE: VGW) (the “Company” or “Valens”), a multi-licensed, vertically integrated provider of cannabis products and services utilizing proprietary extraction processes, is pleased to announce the voting results from the Company’s Annual and Special Meeting of Shareholders (“the Meeting”), held in Kelowna, British Columbia on October 5, 2018.
A total of 31,615,553 common shares were represented at the Meeting, representing 43.6% of the votes attached to all outstanding common shares as at the record date. All of the matters submitted to the shareholders for approval as set out in the Company’s notice of meeting and management information circular, dated October 5, 2018, were approved by the requisite majority of votes cast at the Meeting.
Shareholders voted in favour of setting the number of directors at five (5), elected all incumbent directors, appointed the auditors and ratified the continuation of the Company’s share option plan.
