Reporting to the Facility Manager, this role will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and installing equipment in the facility while also being responsible for ensuring that daily preventative maintenance tasks and repairs are carried out accordingly to meet production needs.


  • Promote and ensure a safe work environment with strict adherence to health and safety procedures
  • Provide training and guidance to other maintenance personnel on equipment repairs Perform corrective, preventative and reactive maintenance on industrial manufacturing equipment
  • Provide input into maintenance schedules created by the Maintenance Coordinator
  • Work with purchasing and inventory teams to maintain parts records and ordering
  • Read blueprints and schematic drawings to determine work procedures
  • Fulfill basic electrical troubleshooting and repairs
  • Ensure work is completed in accordance with standard operating procedures (SOPs) and guidelines to protect product and process integrity
  • Participate in equipment optimization initiatives
  • Coordinate all management of change activities with Maintenance Coordinator and QA
  • Verify paperwork submitted, communicate with Maintenance Coordinator on any CMMS updates
  • Complete other duties as assigned by the Facility Manager


  • 3+ years of proven manufacturing or production facility experience
  • Valid Red Seal Millwright Ticket
  • Experience in industrial and/or commercial electrical systems
  • Experience using Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC’s) is an asset
  • Fabrication experience an asset
  • Proven ability to organize and plan daily tasks with minimal supervision
  • Solid written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise
  • Dependable, reliable, responsible
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Multitasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks
  • Ability to complete a satisfactory criminal record check
