Reporting to the Production & Logistics Coordinator, the Logistics Administrator will be responsible for supporting supply chain procedures, from coordinating deliveries to managing shipping documentation. The successful candidate will be well-organized with a strong eye for detail and a thorough understanding of the order fulfillment cycle.

DUTIES:  

  • Organize and maintain hard copy and electronic documentation supporting order fulfillment, distribution, shipping and receiving.
  • Coordinate and communicate delivery schedules with customers
  • Manage appointments with all customer and provincial distribution centers
  • Obtain freight quotes and complete freight bookings; communicate relevant information with various departments including accounting, inventory, and production
  • Create purchase orders using Microsoft Dynamics for incoming materials
  • Maintain logistics schedule for all inbound and outbound shipments
  • Prepare and review documents for incoming and outgoing shipments
  • Work with team members to identify and resolve discrepancies
  • Analyze discrepancies to ensure continuous improvement
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of the domestic and international logistics strategies
  • Provide reports to internal and external customers as required
  • Help with physical verification of receipt of material, as needed
  • Other duties, as assigned my management

QUALIFICATIONS:  

  • 1+ years of relevant experience in a similar role
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management or relevant program an asset
  • Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) tools is an asset
  • Cannabis knowledge and experience in a manufacturing/CPG environment an asset
  • Quick learner who understands technology and can learn new systems and processes
  • Critical thinking and ability to problem solve and offer solutions to improve processes
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Powerpoint, Word)
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise
  • Dependable and responsible in all aspects of work
  • Ability to complete a satisfactory criminal record check
